some people leave town during the calgary stampede. the supposed greatest outdoor show on earth.
some locals cringe and try to avoid it. others leave town. because the whole city transforms into one big cowboy party for 10 days. with tons of tourists to help out.
well. personally. i think there is lots to like. watching h-kun experience it for the first time. cotton candy. the nightly fireworks. cotton candy. the free stampede parties thrown by companies i work with. cotton candy. the barns and the animals. cotton candy. the crowds. cotton candy. the art exhibitions and competitions. cotton candy. the cowboys. cotton candy. the free entertainment. cotton candy. and the way the whole city goes back to normal on the 11th day. cotton candy.
